About Coach

My athletic journey is composed of a wide variety of sporting activities. I began playing competitive level soccer and baseball for sporting organizations in Richmond Hill, while playing hockey, basketball, volleyball, and track and field for my school teams. I was also fortunate enough to play against youth Serie A soccer teams in Italy at the age of 13. By the time high school came around, I was introduced to rugby and stuck with it ever since. The game has brought me many opportunities such as Canada Rugby sevens next generation selection, Toronto arrows academy selection, NCAA D1-AA National championship with Notre Dame College (2016), 3x Seneca College men's rugby MVP and 3x Ontario College Athletics All Star, as well as moving over to England to compete and study within the top university system.

These experiences have created a true passion for the pursuit of athletic excellence. I truly believe all athletes are much more capable than what they may believe is possible. I am now taking it upon myself to help prove to athletes that with some commitment and hard work, all their dreams can come true.

Turning Point

I actually got cut from high level soccer programs for not being aggressive enough. The coaching staff would tell my parents that I had the skill however not the mentality that was required to play at the elite level. When I found rugby, it was my opportunity to really dive deep into my insecurities and begin to cultivate a strong warrior mindset. My process to conquer my fears began in the weight room and in my tiny back yard located in Richmond Hill, ON.

I practiced my skills, evasion, contact skills with my father and brother, and watched more film than I could ever had imagined. Truly, when I found rugby - everything changed. I would always think back to my coaches who would claim I did not want ‘it’ bad enough, and it fuelled me to prove them all wrong. All these years and experiences later, I like to think I did.

Motivation & Passion

I truly believe I was put on this earth to bring energy and belief to athletes of all sporting environments. There is something so satisfying about athletes breaking through boundaries which they believed were unbreakable. Whether it be speed, power; strength or strictly in game performance, there is always a way to enhance one's abilities and it's my duty to find that way! LFG
